The process
The detailed notification dated 1 September 2026 covers recruitment in Regional Rural Banks. Applicants may apply for Office Assistants (Multipurpose) and also for one officer scale, Scale I, II or III, but each post needs its own application and fee.
Officer Scale I and Office Assistants: two online stages, Preliminary then Main.
Officer Scale II and III: a single online examination.
Officer Scale I, II and III shortlisted candidates face a common interview coordinated by the nodal RRBs with NABARD and IBPS.
Allotment is based on merit and the vacancies reported by RRBs of the state or UT applied for.
Registration was first set for 1 to 21 September 2026 and was later extended.
